Chapeltown Ladies 2's v Doncaster Independent 30th Sept 2017

Great determination shown by all players in our second match of the season and with a change back in our formation. Improvement on use of the triangle , showing much better passing and having most of the play. Two great goals by Louise Cooper being in the right place and battled through Doncaster's defence. Some lovely use of the midfield players especially with great passing by Katy Howford and Maddie Simpson. Another goal came from Lyndsey Boulby from a flick. (No nerves shown from her after the goalkeeper double checked the goal was definitely central). Cat like reflexes from Alison Wilks sending an overhead ball on the rebound into the back of the net sealed the deal. Albeit we played against ten there were lot more attempts at goals and opportunities created. A well deserved win and 100% commitment shown.
