It is with much sadness that we inform you of the loss of Mike Foster.

Our condolences, love and offer of support, go out to his family at this time.

Mike has been a member of Chapeltown Hockey Club for many, many years and has probably held all of the positions on our committee over this time. Most recently he filled the role of Fixture Secretary with aplomb.

Words can’t begin to explain the shock and grief that will filter through both our club and the hockey community, at the loss of a great man and champion of our sport.

Mike Foster - your loss to our club will be felt forever, you leave a hole that can’t be filled, but your legacy will remain with us!

The Funeral & Thanksgiving service for Michael Foster is to be held at St Marks Church, Grenoside, 11:30 am. Friday 25th August.
Followed by a short family committal service at Grenoside Crematorium.

A reception will be held at Wortley Hall from 1 pm onward. All are welcome, dress how you feel comfortable.
